2026 Chinese New Year message from the PCSO general manager

My warmest greetings to the Chinese Filipino community and the readers of the Manila Bulletin as we welcome the Lunar New Year.

The arrival of the Year of the Fire Horse is a time of profound reflection and renewed hope. For generations, the Chinese Filipino community has been a cornerstone of our nation’s progress, bridging cultures and driving economic vitality through a spirit of resilience and industry.

At the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, we find a deep resonance with the themes of this festival: prosperity and sharing. True prosperity is not measured solely by what we gain but by how much we are able to give back to those in need. As we celebrate this new beginning, the PCSO remains steadfast in its commitment to being the face of charity for the Filipino people.

Through our various gaming products, we continue to generate the vital funds necessary to provide medical assistance, healthcare programs, and social services to our less fortunate kababayans. Every ticket bought is a contribution to a larger mission of compassion.

In this auspicious season, let us strengthen our ties of solidarity even further. May we all be blessed with good health, abundant success, and a heart that continues to beat for the service of others.
