The Association of Women Legislators Foundation, Inc. (AWLFI) recently marked National Arts Month this February with the launch of an art exhibition dubbed “Sining sa Kongreso IV" at the House of Representatives.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony of the art exhibition for a cause was led by AWLFI President Rep. Linabelle Ruth Villarica.
Also taking part in the event were former president and incumbent Pampanga 2nd district Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo; Pangasinan 3rd district Rep. Rachel Arenas; and Mrs. Ann Dy, wife of House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III. Also serving as AWLFI Co-President is Pangasinan 4th district Rep. Gina de Venecia.
Sining sa Kongreso IV is a fund-raising initiative of women legislators in partnership with Mira Art Gallery. The project aims to generate support for AWLFI’s charitable programs that benefit women and children.
Among its most recent initiatives are the ongoing improvements to the Women and Children Protection Unit at the National Center for Mental Health, as well as the construction of a Women in Crisis Center in Alabang, Muntinlupa.
Through this exhibition, AWLFI continues to champion the arts while advancing its advocacy for the protection, empowerment, and well-being of women and children nationwide.
Sining sa Kongreso IV runs from Feb. 9 to 19, 2026.
