K of C Manila Council 1000 donates ₱100,000 to Fr. George J. Willmann charities

The Knights of Columbus Manila Council 1000 formally turned over a ₱100,000 donation to Fr. George J. Willmann Charities, Inc. and the Knights of Columbus Philippine Foundation, Inc. in a ceremonial presentation led by Grand Knight Jenner Alberto, together with the Council’s officers and members.

The cheque was received by Chairman of the Board Atty. Rene Vergara Sarmiento and President Joven Dy. The donation came from the fundraising project “A Night with Knights” chaired by Joey Balerite Lat, featuring a special musical performance by Brother Knight Marc Velasco.

The turnover ceremony was witnessed by Vice Chairman Justice Jose Reyes, Jr., Foundation Board members Roger Tadura, Pascual Carbero, Reynaldo Pariñas, Msgr. Pedro Quitorio III, Fr. Jerome Cruz, and Fr. Hernan Mendoza.

This successful fundraising activity highlights Manila Council 1000’s unwavering commitment to charitable service and its continued support for programs that uplift the marginalized, in line with the mission of Fr. George J. Willmann Charities, Inc.
