Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno" Domagoso has assured the release of a total of P37.13 million in College Social Amelioration Program (SAP) allowances for qualified students of the Universidad de Manila (UDM) and the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM).
Under the allocation, P11.103 million will be released for bona fide UDM students, with each beneficiary set to receive P2,000 covering allowances for October to November 2025.
The distribution is scheduled from February 2 to 6, 2026.
Meanwhile, PLM students will receive a total of P26.025 million in SAP allowances, with each qualified student entitled to P3,000 for the period covering October to December 2025.
Distribution will likewise run from February 2 to 6, 2026.
Domagoso said the continued release of college allowances reflects the city government’s commitment to supporting the education of Batang Maynila, particularly students from financially challenged families.
The College SAP is among the city’s flagship education assistance programs aimed at helping students cope with daily school expenses and ensuring their continued access to higher education.
