Cebu Pacific launches direct Clark-Hanoi flights this May

Budget carrier Cebu Air Inc. will begin flying directly between Clark and Hanoi this May as it continues to bolster its presence at the north’s primary gateway.
The Gokongwei-led carrier said in a statement Wednesday, Jan. 28, that it will operate the Clark-Hanoi route three times weekly starting May 2.
Flights from Clark are scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, while the return legs from the Vietnamese capital will depart on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
The move further expanded Cebu Pacific’s Clark hub, which serves the travel needs of passengers in North and Central Luzon. By bypassing the perennially congested Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), the airline aims to capture a larger share of the growing leisure and business traffic between the two Southeast Asian nations.
“Launching direct flights from Clark to Hanoi is an exciting milestone for Cebu Pacific as we continue to strengthen Clark as a hub,” Xander Lao, president and chief commercial officer of Cebu Pacific, said.
He added that the route is designed to enhance travel options and accessibility for those residing outside the capital region.
To stimulate demand for the new service, the airline is introducing a promotional “piso” fare. From Jan. 28 through Feb. 1, travelers can book one-way base fares for as low as ₱1, excluding taxes, fuel surcharges, and other fees. The travel window for the promotion is set for May 2 through Oct. 31, 2026.
Hanoi becomes the fifth international destination for Cebu Pacific out of Clark, joining an existing roster that includes Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Singapore.
The addition also brings the carrier’s total Vietnam network to five routes; it currently flies from Manila to Da Nang, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City, and offers a direct link between Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City.
The expansion comes as the Philippine aviation sector seeks to capitalize on a rebound in regional tourism. Hanoi, famous for its preserved colonial architecture and the bustling Old Quarter, serves as a jumping-off point for UNESCO World Heritage sites like Halong Bay.
Cebu Pacific currently flies to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
