Virtues such as integrity and compassion should serve as the guiding light of the country's newly-minted lawyers.
Thus, said House Minority Leader 4Ps Party-list Rep. Marcelino "Nonoy" Libanan, who on Wednesday, Jan. 7 joined those who expressed their congratulations to the passers of the 2025 Bar Examinations.
(Warm congratulations to the new lawyers who passed the 2025 Bar Examinations!)" Libanan, himself a lawyer, said in a Facebook post.
Imparting an important message to the Bar exam passers, the minority leader said: "Higit sa isang personal na karangalan, ang pagiging abogado ay isang panata ng paglilingkod sa katarungan, sa katotohanan, at sa sambayanang Pilipino."
(Beyond being a personal honor, becoming a lawyer is a vow of service to justice, to truth, and to the Filipino people.)
(May integrity and compassion guide you in every step of your profession, and may you use your knowledge not only for yourself, but for the betterment of our society.)
Libanan added: "Welcome to the ranks of defenders of law and justice. Long live the new lawyers of the nation!
The three-day exams were held on Sept. 7, 10, and 14, 2025. The results were released by the Supreme Court (SC)
