In a bold move towards global excellence in healthcare, premier private hospital Manila Doctors Hospital is advancing its initiatives through a recent partnership with IHH Healthcare Singapore under the Mount Elizabeth Medical Affiliate Programme (MAP), a globally recognized and one of the largest private healthcare providers. The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed on Oct. 8, 2025, officially sealing the partnership at the MDH Penthouse.
This partnership is driven by its main objective: to establish a solid pathway that creates a smooth and efficient referral system for patients in the Philippines who need advanced highly specialized medical care that may not be readily available within the country. This effort is dedicated to streamlining the patient care bridge between MDH and IHH, ensuring seamless, prioritized transitions in care. Through this, MDH will also be able to fulfill its people-centric purpose of establishing a full-circle, interactive healthcare structure for patients who require specialized medical and surgical services from IHH.
Dr. Giovanni Dangca, MDH head of Medical Services Division, emphasized that “The program will not only benefit patients by offering them access to world-class treatment but also enhance the capabilities of both institutions and healthcare providers through knowledge sharing, training, and collaboration.”
Through this, IHH Healthcare highlights that partners of the Medical Affiliate Program will greatly benefit from Affiliation with the Mount Elizabeth Brand, Access to Expertise & Services, Knowledge Sharing (Clinical & Hospital Management), and Quality Improvement in Healthcare Delivery.
Manila Doctors Hospital continues to be at the forefront of medical services in the Philippines. This partnership also serves as a clear passage for patients to avail of the combined clinical expertise and state-of-the-art facilities of IHH Singapore’s renowned hospital networks, such as Gleneagles, Mount Elizabeth, and Parkway East. The IHH group can also leverage MDH's solid foundation and well-established presence as one of the most trusted hospitals in the country. The collaboration will provide a unified healthcare solution for local and international patients to receive the high-quality care they need and deserve.
Manila Doctors Hospital is gearing up to launch more events and projects tied to this partnership for next year, solidifying the initiative to empower the institution’s greatest asset, the people.
