Call center agent wanted for abuse of women, children nabbed in Las Pinas

A call center agent was arrested by a combined team of the Southern Police District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB) and District Special Operations Unit (DSOU) in its effort to uphold justice and protect women and children against abuse in Las Piñas City.
The suspect was identified as Mark, 38. He was arrested at his residence in Pamplona Uno, Las Piñas City.
Las Piñas City Police Chief Col. Sandro Tafalla said the combined team of DMFB and DSOUF coordinated with them for the arrest of Mark.
Taffala said Mark was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Nerina Anastacio-Mendinuento of the Las Piñas City Regional Trial Court Branch 119.
He said the Medinuento ordered the arrest of the suspect for violation of Section 5(A) and Section 5(B) of Republic Act 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004) with a bail recommended at P12,000 each.
The suspect was detained at the Las Piñas City Police custodial facility after his arrest.
