The Southern Police District (SPD) announced the arrest of a man listed as the No. 10 most wanted person in Muntinlupa.
Alias Remegio, 46, was collared on Sept. 29 at the corner of the National Road and Centennial Avenue in Barangay Tunasan, Muntinlupa.
Remegio was convicted by a Muntinlupa court for violation of Section 5(i) of Republic Act 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004).
Presiding Judge Wehrly Gutierrez-Mendez of the Muntinlupa Family Court Branch 8 issued on Sept. 26 a warrant of arrest against Remegio for service of sentence.
He is detained at Muntinlupa Police custodial facility pending the issuance of a commitment order from the court.

We remain dedicated to maintaining peace and order and bringing closure to victims of violence in Southern Metro Manila.”
