Man wanted for acts of lasciviousness arrested in Pateros
Operatives from the Pateros Police Station arrested a 36-year-old man listed as the town's No. 1 most wanted person for acts of lasciviousness.
The suspect, identified by the police as alias Almer, was nabbed on Sept. 29 in Barangay Sta. Ana, Pateros, by virtue of a warrant issued by Presiding Judge Joselito Dumlao of the Pasig Regional Trial Court Branch 265.
The court set a P180,000 bail for the temporary release of the suspect who is facing acts of lasciviousness charges under Section 5(b) of Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act) as amended by Republic Acts 11648 and 7369.
Section 5 states that “children, whether male or female, who for money, profit, or any other consideration or due to the coercion or influence of any adult, syndicate or group, indulge in sexual intercourse or lascivious conduct, are deemed to be children exploited in prostitution and other sexual abuse.”
Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, acting district director of the Southern Police District, commended the operating team for capturing the suspect.
