  • Alexa maintained she didn't want to cause any trouble doing what she did.
After making headlines naming actress Franki Russell as the supposed third party in her now defunct relationship with an unnamed man, actress Alexa Miro opens up about what she did and why.
At the media conference for her upcoming show, "Sing-Galing," Alexa reiterated she didn't do it simply to cause ruckus.
"Hindi naman po ako gumigimik or nag-iingay, meron lang po akong personal na pinagdadaanan sa buhay ko, kaya po nakapag Tiktok live ako and nasabi ko yung mga bagay na yun," Alexa said.
(It was not a gimmick, for the purpose of simply making noise, I'm just going through something personal in my life, that's why I was able to go live on TikTok and say those things.)
Alexa admitted that she didn't want to cause any trouble.
"Wala naman akong gustong masaktan, nagkataon lang na wrong place, wrong timing. I was full of emotions; I was angry, so I wanted to speak up," Alexa added.
Alexa said she didn't reveal the name of her ex-boyfriend because she didn't want him to suffer unwarranted attention.
During the same TikTok live stream, Alexa revealed that she actually reached out to Franki at a bar, but the situation got out of hand.
"Binastos niya pa ako sa club. Pinaiyak niya ako kasi kinausap ko siya,'' Alexa said.
(She insulted me at the club. She made me cry just because I tried talking to her.)
Alexa also related that Barbie Imperial was there to console her.
"Ipinagtanggol ako ni Barbie Imperial. Sabi niya, 'Hindi ka iiyak dito sa club. Punasan mo yung luha mo.' So, buti na lang may best friend ako. May mga best friend ako na andiyan lang palagi para sa akin. Kasi importante yun, guys," she added.
(Barbie Imperial defended me. She said, 'You can't cry here at the club. Wipe your tears.' So, fortunately, I have a best friend. I have best friends who are always there for me. Because it matters, guys.)
For a cause
Alexa is joining "Sing Galing" for good reason.
"Sumali ako Sing Galing para sa beneficiary ko, para sa charity ko. Kasi kung hindi para dun baka hindi ako sumali kasi feeling ko hindi naman ako ganun kagaling umawit pero sana tingnan natin baka may chance ako manalo," Alexa said.
(I joined 'Sing Galing' for my beneficiary, for my charity. Because if it wasn't for that, I might not have joined, because I feel I'm not that good at singing, but let's see, maybe I have a chance at winning)

Also joining the contest are Romnick Sarmenta, Nikki Valdez, Meryll Soriano, Dominic Ochoa, Rufa Mae Quinto, Chad Kinis, Keanna Reeves, and Madam Kilay, among many others.
"Sing Galing" airs on TV5, Sari-Sari Channel, and Buko Channel starting Sept 27.
Fresh episodes  drop Saturdays at 7PM and Sundays at 8PM.
