The Southern Police District (SPD) arrested three drug suspects during a buy-bust operation in Taguig on Sept. 23.
The SPD’s District Drug Enforcement Unit and District Intelligence Division (DID-SPD), in coordination with Taguig police’s Substation 4 conducted the operation in a fast food restaurant along Cayetano Boulevard in Barangay Ususan, Taguig.
Arrested during the operation were alias Maggy, 31, a listed high-value pusher; and alias Allen, 20; and alias Christian, 21, both newly identified high-value pushers.
Authorities seized 200 grams of shabu worth P1.36 million, two firearms with live ammunition, buy-bust money, and various personal items, including a car.
The suspects are under police custody and will face complaints for violating Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).
“This successful operation is a testament to the dedication of our police officers in eradicating illegal drugs and firearms from our communities,” said Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, acting SPD district director of SPD.
