Antipolo City boosts tourism programs to attract more tourists

The Antipolo City government is boosting its tourism programs to attract more tourists to come and visit the Pilgrimage Capital of the Country.
During the recently concluded 12th Tourism Fair held at Robinsons Antipolo, more than 20 private establishments based in Antipolo City showcased their respective services, from foods, to restaurants, to resorts and accommodation facilities and conference centers to nature parks.
Marino “Mar” Bacani, the city government’s tourism consultant said the 23 exhibitors featured their respective products and services offering big discounts and freebies to visitors at the atrium of Robinsons Antipolo.
Loreland Farm Resort, a resort, restaurant and accommodation facility located in Barangay San Roque, continues to offer all-year round discounts to individuals and groups as its commitment to boost the tourism industry in the city.
Melinda “Mel” Llait, officer-in-charge of the Antipolo City Culture, Arts and Tourism Promotions Office said the tourism fair, an annual event organized by the city government in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT) and accredited private establishments based in the city, said the three-day event highlighted the various aspects of tourism in the Pilgrimage Capital, including culture, arts and music.
Mayor Casimiro “Junjun” Ynares III expressed his gratitude to the tourism fair exhibitors for their contributions in supporting the tourism-related programs of the city government.
Dance troupes from different public schools performed during the three-day fair that was attended by DOT Region 4-A Director Marites T. Castro and city and provincial government officials.
