The 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) unveiled the schedule for its different events such as the Carte Blanche, Special Talks, Actors’ House, Talk-to-Talk, Master Classes, and Cine Classes. 

This year’s BIFF will run from Sept. 17 to 26 at the Busan Cinema Center and throughout Busan in South Korea. 

Among those who will attend the film festival are Korean stars Son Ye-jin, Lee Byung-hun, Gang Dong-won and Kim Yoo-jung, and Maggie Kang, the director and writer of Netflix’s hit film “KPop Demon Hunters.”

Here are the dates of the different events at BIFF: 

Carte Blanche

Carte Blanche invited cultural figures to engage in conversations with the audience. Attending the event are Bong Joon-ho, Kang, Gang Dong-won, Eun Huigyeong, and Sohn Suk-hee

Special Talk: Screenings with Expanded Conversations

Special Talks will offer in-depth post-screening discussions with directors and actors about their creative processes and the significance of their works, according to the BIFF. Attending are Chung Jiyoung, Michael Mann, Sylvia Chang, Lee Chang-dong, Johnnie To, Jang Joonhwan, Lee Je-hoon, and Ryoo Seungwan.
