Stray Kids' 'Karma' tops weekly album chart with 2.13-M copies sold
K-pop boy band Stray Kids’ new album “Karma” sold more than two million copies and topped the weekly album chart.
According to Korea’s Hanteo Chart, “Karma,” released on Aug. 22, ranked No. 1 on the weekly album chart for the period Aug. 18 to 24.
During the period, the album sold 2.13 million copies or an equivalent of 2.52 million points in physical record index, which is used by the chart to rank albums. It’s a combination of album sales and price.
“Karma” topped the daily album chart on Aug. 22, its first day of release, by selling 2.08 million copies.
Stray Kids will continue appearing on Korean TV music shows including “M Countdown” Aug. 28, “Music Bank” on Aug. 29, “Music Core” on Aug. 30 and “Inkigayo” on Aug. 31.
