Authorities confiscated a total of P351,220 shabu from a drug suspect tagged as a high-value individual (HVI) during a buy-bust operation in Las Piñas City on Saturday, Aug. 23.

Las Piñas City Police chief Col. Sandro Tafalla identified the suspect as "Tol," 36, a resident of Barangay Almanza Uno, Las Piñas. He was arrested at around 1:25 a.m. in Barangay Talon Singko.
Confiscated from him were six heat-sealed transparent sachets, about 51.65 grams of shabu, a brown leather coin purse, a keypad mobile phone, and the marked buy-bust money used during the transaction.
Tafalla said the suspect is now detained at the Las Piñas City Police custodial facility and was charged with violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The Southern Police District (SPD), led by District Director Brig. Gen. Randy Y. Arceo reaffirmed their commitment to the government’s anti-illegal drugs campaign and assured the public of continuous operations to keep the community safe.
