ENHYPEN kicks off US leg of 'Walk The Line' world tour with sold-out shows
K-pop idol group ENHYPEN launched the US leg of their “Walk The Line” world tour with two sold-out shows.
ENHYPEN kicked off the US tour with shows at UBS Arena in Belmont Park in New York on Aug. 6 and 7.
The performances marked the first of six US stops before they fly to Europe to continue the world tour.
ENHYPEN launched the “Walk The Line” world tour in Korea last October followed by a Japanese dome tour, stadium performances in the Philippines and Thailand, and a historic Coachella debut earlier this year.
The US leg brings to life ENHYPEN’s evolution in both sound and storytelling. From the opening “Brought The Heat Back” to the sultry choreography of “XO (Only If You Say Yes),” the show fused theatrical VCRs, hits and new arrangements from their latest mini album “Desire : Unleash” released in June and second studio album “Romance : Untold” that came out in July last year.
The group’s fans, ENGENEs, at UBS Arena were treated to live performances of ENHYPEN’s debut single “Given-Taken,” newer tracks like "Loose,” “Fatal Trouble,” “Your Eyes Only,” “Scream,” “Moonstruck” and “No Doubt” as well as fan-favorite anthems including "Fever," “ParadoXXX Invasion,” "Future Perfect (Pass the MIC),” “Blessed-Cursed,” “Bite Me,” “Tamed-Dashed,” “Sweet Venom” and the crowd-chanted “Go Big or Go Home.”
ENHYPEN’s unit stages also took centerstage: “Lucifer” from Jay, Jake and Sunghoon followed by “Teeth” by Jungwon, Heeseung, Sunoo and Ni-Ki.
They also performed the English version of their latest single “Bad Desire (With or Without You)” for the first time.
Dressed in tour-exclusive custom Prada looks, the members showed their signature blend of vocals and synchronized choreography.
After Belmont Park, ENHYPEN will hold the “Walk The Line” world tour in Chicago (Aug 9), Houston (Aug 12 and 13) and Los Angeles (Aug 16).
They will be heading for their first-ever Europe tour with dates in London (Aug 22), Manchester (Aug 25), Amsterdam (Aug 28), Brussels (Aug 30), Berlin (Sept 1) and Paris (Sept 3).
With 28 shows across 19 cities worldwide, “Walk The Line” is the group’s most expansive tour to date, offering a full-circle experience for fans who have walked beside them since their debut. More information on remaining U.S. and international dates is available at walkthelinetour25.com.
