K-pop group KiiiKiii to release new digital single 'Dancing Alone'
K-pop’s fast-rising girl group KiiiKiii, composed of Jiyu, Leesol, Sui, Haeum and Kya, will be returning with a new digital single, “Dancing Alone,” on Aug. 6.
“Dancing Alone” will continue KiiiKiii’s exploration of themes like individualism, emotional honesty and connection delivered through their nostalgic-meets-modern lens and supported by an interactive rollout designed to spark conversation.
The campaign kicked off this past weekend with a surprise website relaunch and teaser blitz across KiiiKiii’s social media channels, featuring lo-fi clips of the members riding bikes, laughing in school uniforms and flipping through DVDs labeled “Dancing Alone,” all evoking a wistful, DIY aesthetic.
On X, fans were treated to dreamy concept photos showing the members in casual, real-life settings such as riversides, sports fields and backyards, underscoring the laid-back, everyday vibe that has become part of the group’s identity.
A highlight of the launch is the new KiiiKiii Garage Sale–an interactive website experience styled like an old desktop.
Fans can explore folders containing official images, with one clickable folder unlocking a custom poster-building feature. The unconventional, hands-on approach mirrors the viral success of the group’s “Uncut Gem” launch, which featured a quirky jam factory-themed site that resonated with fans and media alike.
KiiiKiii made a strong impression earlier this year with “Uncut Gem,” their six-track debut EP that has surpassed 30 million Spotify streams.
Led by the pre-release single “I Do Me” (13 million music video views), the project introduced the group’s signature blend of unfiltered energy, striking Y2K-inspired visuals and immersive digital storytelling.
