Kevin Quiambao continued to hone his craft on American soil after recently sharing photos of him suiting up in the Drew League.
“#notperfect,” Quiambao wrote on Instagram where he also had a photo with veteran big man Thaddeus Young.
NBA stars LeBron James, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Paul George, and DeMar DeRozan, to name a few, once played in the Drew League which is a notable summer tournament for both professional and amateur cagers in the US.
Paul Pierce, Byron Scott, Baron Davis, and the late Kobe Bryant also competed there.
The 24-year-old Quiambao has been staying in the US since earlier this month with an aim of landing a spot in the NBA Summer League which, unfortunately, didn’t go to his plans.
However, the two-time UAAP Most Valuable Player has maximized his trip there, joining training camps and meeting some NBA players and hopefuls along the way.
Quiambao is still under contract with the Goyang Sono Skygunners in the Korean Basketball League (KBL) which is on a break as of now.
The versatile forward vows to fulfill his national duties when Gilas Pilipinas vies in this year’s FIBA Asia Cup in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
