Muntinlupa LGU prohibits fishing due to 'Crising'

The Muntinlupa City government prohibited watercraft from sailing or fishing in Laguna Lake on July 18 due to bad weather brought about by tropical storm “Crising.”
“Mahigpit na ipinagbabawal na pumalaot o mangisda ang anumang uri ng sasakyang pandagat para sa kaligtasan ng lahat. Ang babalang ito ay mula sa Lake Management Office (LMO) bilang paghahanda sa posibleng pinsalang hatid ng bagyong #CrisingPH (It is strictly prohibited for any type of vessel to sail or fish for the safety of all. This warning is from the Lake Management Office (LMO) in preparation for the possible damage brought by typhoon #CrisingPH),” the city government announced.
On July 17, Mayor Ruffy Biazon suspended face-to-face classes in all levels in public and private schools for July 18.
According to a weather bulletin by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), at 2 p.m. on July 18, “The center of Tropical Storm Crising was estimated based on all available data at 135 km East Northeast of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (17.9°N, 123.0°E).”
It has “maximum sustained winds of 75 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 90 km/h, and central pressure of 992 hPa.”
