Led by Dave Ildefonso, Encho Serrano, CJ Austria and Raven Gonzales, Abra kept Pangasinan at bay for the majority of the game to extend its winning streak to 12 games and improve to a 14-1 win-loss record.
Ildefonso posted 18 points, five rebounds and four assists while Serrano 15 points and seven rebounds. Austria, meanwhile, contributed 12 points, nine rebounds and two assists even as 6-foot-7 Gonzales, who put the Weavers on safer waters with back-to-back jumpers for a 70-60 lead, wound up with eight points and eight rebounds.
In the other game, the San Juan Knights trounced the Muntinlupa Cagers, 77-43, behind the efforts of Michael Calisaan, Dexter Maiquez and Joseph Ubalde
Calisaan had 13 points, five rebounds and two steals; Maiquez contributed seven rebounds and two assists; and Ubalde chipped in 10 points and three rebounds.
The Imus Braderhood also barged into the win column with an 82-60 thumping of Parañaque to improve to 7-9.
Kint Ariar led Imus with a double-double performance of 18 points and 17 rebounds even as Mark Doligon also pumped in 17 points and 10 boards on top of seven assists.
