Bagong Henerasyon (BH) Party-list was galvanized by its receipt of its certificate of proclamation from the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Friday, June 6.
This, after the poll body initially suspended BH Party-list's proclamation as among the victors in the 2025 mid-term elections.
But the group--which received 319,803 votes during the May 12 polls--is now eager to move on and serve in the House of Representatives in the upcomimg 20th Congress.
"This piece of paper is more than parchment and print. It is the physical proof of a democratic promise fulfilled — that every vote counts, that every voice matters, and that truth, no matter how briefly delayed, will always find its way to light," BH Party-list said, referring to the certificate.
"From the beginning, we held fast to what we knew in our hearts: that we had honored the law, and that we had done right by the people. That belief gave us calm amid the storm, and faith that justice would prevail," it said.
BH Party-list was represented in the 19th Congress by Rep. Bernadette Herrera. It's nominee for the 20th Congress is Roberto Nazal Jr.
"To the Comelec, we extend our continued gratitude. You have completed the process with fairness, and we recognize the weight of the responsibility you carry for our democracy," the group said.
"To our supporters, this is your triumph – a quiet, powerful vindication of your trust. You walked with us through uncertainty. You hoped with us. And today, that hope has been made real," it added.
"This proclamation may close one door — but it opens a far greater one," BH Party-list further said.
