Former Taiwanese boy band F4 is reportedly gearing up for a reunion concert in 2026.
According to the reports of The Straits Times, and Taiwan publication Mirror Media, the former boy band agreed to do a reunion concert marking their 25th debut anniversary.
The reports also mentioned that the Taiwan-based recording company B’in Music was handling the possible comeback.
As part of the reunion event, F4 might also go on tour in other Asian countries, aside from China and Taiwan.
F4 debuted in 2001 and consists of Jerry Yan (48), Vic Chou (43), Ken Chu (46), and Vanness Wu (46) after they co-starred with the late actress Barbie Hsu in the popular television series Meteor Garden.
The group became a phenomenon in Asia and released three studio albums: Waiting for You (2007), Fantasy 4ever (2002), and Meteor Rain (2001). "Can’t Lose You," "Season of Fireworks," and "Can’t Help Fallin" are some of their popular tracks.
In December 2003, F4 staged a concert in the Philippines titled F4 Live! Happy New Year 2004.
Due to copyright restrictions, the group changed their name to JVKV in 2007. This new name is based on the initials of the members organized according to their ages.
In 2009, the band broke up. After splitting up, each member went on to pursue their respective careers.
