Drug suspect nabbed with P189,000 worth of shabu in EMBO barangay

Police operatives arrested a newly identified street-level drug personality in a buy-bust operation in an EMBO (Enlisted Men's Barrio) barangay in Taguig on June 5.
Taguig police said the suspect, identified as alias Drick, 25, from Barangay South Cembo, was nabbed at the corner of Ricarte and President R. Magsaysay Streets in the same barangay.
During the operation, police seized seven plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 27.8 grams valued at P189,040, a coin purse used to store the illegal drugs, a genuine P500 bill marked as the buy-bust money, and a P1,000 boodle money.
The operation was carried out by the Taguig police’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit.
The suspect is under police custody and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
