Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna urged city officials and employees to make the most of her final month in office by continuing to uphold the city's legacy of honest and genuine public service as her term comes to a close.
“Let us make the most of June,” the mayor said during the regular flag-raising ceremony held Monday morning at Manila City Hall.
In a heartfelt message, the mayor expressed deep gratitude to the people of Manila for entrusting her with the mayoral role.
“I am truly thankful to every Manileño for the opportunity to serve. Being the first lady mayor of our city is not just a milestone—it has been an immense honor,” she said.
The mayor also extended her appreciation to fellow officials, employees, and colleagues in the city government for their support throughout her administration.
“Serving Manila is not just a duty, it is an honor and a responsibility,” she remarked.

“As I prepare to leave office, I call on everyone to continue providing sincere, prompt, and compassionate service to every Manileño,” she added.
