Muntinlupa City hall employees evacuate due to earthquake
Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon and employees at the Muntinlupa City hall evacuated on May 27 after an earthquake struck General Nakar in Quezon.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the magnitude 5.1 earthquake happened at 12:17 p.m. on May 27.
A Philippine Earthquake Intensity Meter Network installed in Muntinlupa recorded intensity II.
Muntinlupa residents also posted on Facebook, saying they felt the earthquake.

- “Naramdaman ko parang alon pero sandali lang (I felt it like a wave but only for a moment).”
- “Ramdam ko po while watching tv gumalaw sofa na inuupuan ko. dito ako alabang (I felt it while watching tv the sofa I was sitting on moved. I'm here in Alabang).”
- “I think, 5secs lang yon pero napakadelikdo na non guys. Maging alisto po ang lahat at mag ingat (I think, it was only 5 seconds but it was very dangerous, guys. Everyone be alert and be careful).”
- “Yes ramdam sa putatan lakeview (Yes I felt it in Putatan Lakeview).”
