Grandma dies in QC hit-and-run

A 61-year-old woman died after being struck by two vehicles in succession while crossing the street in Barangay Silangan, Quezon City, on the evening of May 17.
According to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), the incident happened around 7 p.m. at the corner of Illinois Street and Aurora Boulevard. 
The victim, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, was reportedly hit by two sport utility vehicles (SUVs)—one black and one white—which fled the scene without stopping.
Police said a follow-up operation is ongoing to identify and locate the drivers involved in the fatal hit-and-run.
Authorities were also calling on the public to cooperate and report any information that could help lead to the suspects' immediate arrest.
