A 30-year-old man was stabbed in the face after he denied knowing another individual in Barangay Payatas, Quezon City, on Wednesday night, May 21.
Police identified the suspect as alias “Jeremy”, 36, a resident of Batasan Hills, Quezon City.
According to the police report, the suspect asked the victim if he knew a person nicknamed “Panget.” When the victim denied knowing the individual, the suspect became agitated.
During the scuffle, the suspect pulled out a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim in the upper left portion of his face.
Patrolling officers from Police Station 13 responded to the incident, which led to the suspect's arrest.
The victim was immediately brought to Rosario Maclang Bautista General Hospital and is currently under observation.
The suspect has been charged with Frustrated Homicide before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
