At around 7:56 a.m. on Tuesday, Glenn John Reyes, a 44-year-old maintenance worker from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), discovered four suspicious objects wrapped in tape while cleaning a drainage along Quezon Boulevard, near the church.
The information was then relayed to the officers of MPD Sta. Cruz Police Station, who dispatched an investigation team to the scene.
Upon arriving, authorities, including a K9 unit, inspected the area.
The investigation was concluded before noon on the same day, with authorities advising local businesses in the area to remain alert.
