The official Facebook page of the House "Young Guns" bloc has congratulated one of its leaders, Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos, on his reelection in the just-concluded mid-term elections.

"Tuloy tuloy ang trabaho hangang 20th Congress! Re-elected in office ang ating minamahal na Senior Deputy Majority Leader!" read the congratulatory message posted on the Young Guns' wall.

(The work continues until the 20th Congress! Our beloved Senior Deputy Majority Leader has been re-elected to office!)

Rep. Marcos, President Marcos' eldest son, ran unopposed during Monday's polls. The upcoming 20th Congress will be the 31-year-old's second term in office.

The presidential son served as senior deputy majority leader during the 19th Congress, meaning he was second in command to the majority leader. The majority leader is the right-hand man of the House Speaker.

The Young Guns is a self-styled clique in the House of Representatives that represent the future movers and shakers of the lower chamber.
