Mayor Honey casts vote in Sampaloc

Incumbent Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan voted on Monday morning at Legarda Elementary School in Sampaloc, Manila.

Lacuna-Pangan, who is seeking a second term under Lakas-CMD and the local political party Asenso Manileño, arrived at the polling station around 9 a.m., accompanied by members of her team.

She greeted election staff and constituents before casting her vote.

In a brief message, Lacuna emphasized the importance of every Manileño’s participation.

Lacuna, the city’s first female mayor, is running on a platform centered on healthcare, education, social services, and disaster preparedness initiatives she has prioritized throughout her first term.

Her fellow candidates, former mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso and Rep. Sam Verzosa, also cast their votes early Monday.

Domagoso voted at Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School in Tondo, while Verzosa, joined by his celebrity girlfriend Rhian Ramos, voted at Legarda Elementary School in Sampaloc.
