Father, son killed in trailer truck-motorcycle collision in Manila

According to the initial information from the Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit of the Manila Police District (MPD), the accident occurred around 12:20 a.m.
The truck's helper said they were lined up to enter the port when they suddenly felt a strong impact from the rear.
The force of the collision reportedly shook the truck.
When they checked, they discovered the victims lying motionless on the ground.
Based on their identification cards, the two victims were residents of the Baseco Compound.
Relatives who arrived at the scene later confirmed that the victims were father and son.
Funeral personnel arrived around 3 a.m. to retrieve the bodies.
The driver of the truck was brought to the hospital.
