According to the police report, the incident happened around 9:02 p.m. on Saturday, May 3.
The suspect, a 22-year-old former employee of the same establishment, allegedly forced the victim into the kitchen area where he repeatedly stabbed him before fleeing.
“Buo ang pakikiramay ng QCPD sa pamilya ng biktima at tinitiyak na hindi titigil hangga’t hindi napapanagot ang may sala. Sa kasalukuyan, patuloy ang masinsinang manhunt operation laban sa suspek (The QCPD extends its condolences to the victim’s family. We assure them and the public that we will not stop until the suspect is held accountable),” the statement said.
It added that a thorough manhunt operation is currently underway to locate the suspect.
Authorities were also calling on the public to cooperate and report any information that could help lead to the suspect’s immediate arrest.
“Nanawagan ang QCPD sa publiko na makipagtulungan at agad magsumbong ng anumang impormasyon na maaaring magresulta sa agarang pagkakahuli ng suspek (We urge everyone to come forward with any details that may assist in capturing the suspect),” the QCPD said.
The QCPD reaffirmed its commitment to seeking justice for the victim and vowed to exhaust all efforts to ensure the perpetrator is brought to justice.
