Netflix Philippines set to increase its subscription rates in June

Netflix Philippines has announced an increase in subscription rates for local subscribers due to the implementation of a 12 percent value-added tax (VAT) on digital platforms, effective June 1, 2025.
The popular streaming site made the announcement in an advisory to its subscribers.
The updated monthly price is as follows:
Mobile: P169 per month/previously P149
Basic: P279 per month/previously P249
Standard: P449 per month with an additional P169 per month for every extra member slot)/previously P399
Premium: P619 per month with an additional P169 per month for every extra member slot)/previously P549
