Fraternity guest drowns in Quezon sea

REAL, Quezon – A man drowned in the sea of Sitio Kalumangkas, Barangay Pandan, this town, on Saturday morning, May 4.

Police identified the victim as Joemarie Culi Lobus of Marikina City.

The body of the victim was found floating in a prone position in the shallow part of the sea in front of a beach resort. 

Lobus was taken to a hospital in Infanta, Quezon where he was declared dead on arrival.

The incident was reported by his brother-in-law to the police.

The victim checked in at the beach resort before dawn on Saturday as a guest of a team-building session of a fraternity which his brother-in-law was a member of.
