Gardo Versoza discharged from hospital after suffering from heart attack

After undergoing angioplasty surgery due to a heart attack, actor Gardo Versoza has finally returned home. Gardo's wife Ivy Vicencio announced the good news on social media by sharing pictures of him praying inside a church.

Ivy wrote in her post that Gardo's doctor allowed him to go home, but he will still be required to go back in two months for another angioplasty, a technique to open up constricted or blocked arteries or veins. 'Medyo ok na po sya at pinayagan na muna ng mga doctors nya na maka uwi. After 2 months mag undergo po sya ulit ng isa pang Angioplasty,' Ivy mentioned. As well as providing an update on his health, Ivy thanked everyone for their prayers and support. 'Maraming Maraming Maraming Salamat po sa lahat ng nag dasal at nag alala kay Gardo "Cupcake" Versoza .. sa sobrang dami nyo po hindi ko na masagot ang mga private message ninyo .. mga comment at tawag," she added. The news that Gardo had suffered a heart attack was revealed by TV host Boy Abunda on March 30.
