Facebook Messenger rolls out Star Wars-themed features

By Gabriela Baron Facebook has rolled out a new theme for its Messenger app inspired by the dark side of The Force, just in time for the launch of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. (Facebook / MANILA BULLETIN) (Facebook / MANILA BULLETIN) According to the social networking service, the theme is “limited edition”. The new features include star-scattered wallpaper, set of Star Wars emoji, cartoon stickers, and filters. To enable it, make sure you have the latest version of the Messenger from the App Store or Google Play. The Force, according to Wikipedia, is a metaphysical and ubiquitous power in the Star Wars universe. Meanwhile, “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” will hit Philippine theaters on January 8.
