Pokwang, K Brosas cancel concert in Las Vegas

An entertainment company has denied that Filipino actresses Pokwang and K Brosas were staying at a Filipino's home after their show in Las Vegas, Nevada was canceled. Loie Magan, chief executive officer of Lx2 Entertainment, promoter of theÂ Pokwang and K Brosas concert in the US dubbed "BFF Live in Las Vegas," said that K Brosas and Pokwang were stayingÂ at the Treasure Island Hotel in Las Vegas. "We are all fine here, staying at Treasure Island Hotel," said Pokwang and KJ Brosas on Facebook.Â The actors stayed at this hotel after a successful concert called "BFF Live in Chicago."

It was reported that Pokwang and K Brosas canceled their performance in Las Vegas after they failed to obtain compensation from the producer.

Loie added: "We need to protect our artists, althoughÂ they really wanted to perform for our countrymen in Las Vegas."

Many Filipinos bought tickets to watch the show of Pokwang and K in Las Vegas, Loie also said. "We will not cry. We are worried about those who bought tickets," the comediennes added. Loie said that the entertainment company is planning to take legal action against the producer.
