Philippine teams shine at Huawei ICT Competition APAC Finals, bringing home major wins

The Philippines has once again proven its excellence in the global tech arena as our teams secured outstanding victories at the 9th Huawei ICT Competition Asia Pacific 2024-2025 Finals, held on February 27, 2024. The competition brought together the brightest minds in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) from across the Asia-Pacific region, and the Philippines emerged as one of the top-performing nations.

The Philippine teams delivered exceptional performances, winning multiple awards across various categories, including Cloud Computing, Networking, Innovation, and Computing. Additionally, Filipino educators made their mark in the newly introduced Teaching Track, showcasing the country’s commitment to advancing ICT education and innovation.

Student Track:

The Huawei ICT Competition is a global initiative aimed at cultivating talent and driving innovation in Information and Communications Technology (ICT). It aims to foster innovation, technical skills, and knowledge-sharing among students and educators, while bridging the gap between academia and industry. Since its inception, the competition has attracted participation from thousands of students and faculty members across the globe, providing a platform for them to showcase their talents and compete at the highest level.
