Pacquiao expressed his deep appreciation for the unity and leadership in Cebu during a recent visit to Cebu.
"Umaasa po akong tayong mga Bisaya ay patuloy na magkakaisa. Bilib ako sa liderato ng ating gobernadora ng One Cebu. Maganda ang kanyang pamamalakad sa probinsya at nakikita natin ang pag-unlad ng probinsya ng Cebu (I am hoping that we, Bisaya, will continue to be united. I admire the leadership of the governor of One Cebu. She is running the province very well and we can see the progress of Cebu)," Pacquiao said.
Pacquiao, an advocate for the betterment of the Filipino people with Cebu in particular, emphasized the importance of collective action for the growth of the countryside and the well-being of its citizens.
"Patuloy tayong magkaisa para sa pangarap nating maging mas maunlad pa ang Cebu at maraming mga kababayan pa ang umasenso, hindi lamang ang iilang pamilya kundi ang lahat ng mga taga Cebu ay umasenso lalo na ang kanilang hanapbuhay (Let us continue to be united to achieve our dreams of a more progressive Cebu so that more lives will improve, not just a few families but all of the Cebuanos especially their livelihood),” Pacquiao added.
With the support of One Cebu, Pacquiao said he aims to continue his mission of fostering development, economic growth, and opportunities for all Filipinos, ensuring that every Cebuano and everyone in the countryside has a chance to thrive.
