A portion of Quirino Avenue in Parañaque City will be temporarily closed to motorists starting 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, to make way for a religious procession.
The affected stretch covers the road from Redemptorist in Barangay Baclaran to Kabihasnan in Barangay San Dionisio.
The temporary closure is in connection with the procession of Las Tres Coronadas y Los Santos Patronos de las Parroquias de la Diócesis de Parañaque, a major historic religious procession and gathering in the Diocese of Parañaque.
Motorists passing through the area are advised to use alternative routes and avoid the affected roads to prevent traffic congestion and delays.
Authorities urged commuters and motorists to plan their trips ahead of time and observe traffic rules and personnel deployed in the area during the procession.
The public was asked to cooperate with the temporary traffic measures.
