Lionel Richie hospitalized after St. Louis concert - reports

Lionel Richie has been admitted into an intensive care unit of a hospital after performing in St. Louis, Missouri, Saturday.

According to Page Six, he checked himself into a local hospital to get testing done.

Doctors are reportedly looking into slight dehydration as cause of his illness.

According to those who attended his concert, the singer was having difficulty moving.

Lionel also asked his bandmates for a chair to sit on before singing "All Night Long."

Doctors attribute the singer's weakness to possible dehydration.

However, the fans are worried because he has been admitted to the hospital's ICU.

This isn’t the first time the singer has struggled to perform this year.

Back in June, Richie was rushed to the hospital after he fell ill onstage and abruptly ended his concert early.

During the first night of Richie’s 26-city North American tour at the Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul, Minnesota, the four-time Grammy winner appeared visibly distressed.

“When you’re feeling dizzy, sit your ass down,” Richie told the crowd.

After a 15-minute intermission, Richie’s band performed for the crowd.

Nearly an hour later, saxophonist Dino Soldo announced the show was canceled because Richie was “not feeling well.”
