When you think of Kitkat, the first things that probably come to mind are comedy and that unmistakable energy that can turn even an ordinary conversation into a punchline. But these days, Kitkat Favia has added another title to her growing list: Mrs. Universe Philippines Queen Ambassador 2026. And fittingly, her advocacy is something very close to her heart: breastfeeding and HIV awareness.

Kitkat recently shared with me that she is still breastfeeding her four-year-old daughter, Uno Asher, whom she welcomed with husband Walby Favia in 2022.

When Uno was born, Kitkat famously wrote, “My life is COMPLETE,” thanking God for what she called her greatest blessing. Three years later, motherhood is still very much at the center of her life.

“I am still breastfeeding Uno at four years old,” Kitkat told me, and this time around, it wasn’t a punchline, she was dead serious.

“Breastfeeding is not simply about nutrition. It has become an advocacy for me. I want women to understand that breastfeeding can be a personal choice and that even mothers who have undergone breast augmentation like me can still breastfeed. Our bodies are powerful, ganun ka-magical yung katawan,” the comedy princess turned breastfeeding queen told me.

Perhaps what makes Kitkat’s story particularly interesting is that she refuses to fit into just one box. She is a celebrity. A comedian. A mother. A breastfeeding advocate. A beauty queen ambassador. And, yes, a woman who is perfectly comfortable talking about cosmetic enhancements. This is Kitkat being Kitkat: no filters, except perhaps the ones on Instagram.

Her daughter, meanwhile, apparently has a say in when the breastfeeding journey ends.

“When she says, ‘Mom, I don’t like this anymore because my classmates are teasing me,’ that's when probably,” Kitkat said.

I couldn’t help but ask her if she ever feels awkward breastfeeding a four-year-old. “No,” she answered simply.

And that confidence perhaps explains why Kitkat is a fitting ambassador for maternal empowerment. She isn’t presenting motherhood as a perfectly polished Instagram photograph. She talks about the realities, the choices, the questions and even the awkward moments.

For now, Kitkat seems happy with the little universe she has created with Uno. From comedy stages to beauty-queen sashes, her biggest role remains the one she clearly treasures most: being a mother.
