  • Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli are again the subject of pregnancy rumors after a friend of the actor called him a "soon-to-be daddy" in a now-deleted social media post.

Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli are once again at the center of pregnancy speculation, this time after a friend of the actor appeared to let slip that Matteo could soon become a father.

The buzz started with a Facebook post from a man who said he ran into Matteo at a coffee shop in Quezon City.

Alongside a photo of himself with the actor, the man reminisced about their friendship, recalling their previous experiences together, including military-related activities.

He described Matteo as a “solid guy” who is friendly and down-to-earth.

Then came the line that sent fans into overdrive.

“P.S. He is soon to be a daddy. Congratulations, bro!” the friend wrote.

That was enough to get social media talking, with many immediately wondering if Sarah was pregnant with the couple’s first child.

When someone directly asked if Sarah was expecting, the friend appeared to stand by his claim, replying: “Yup! Confirmed from the [horse’s] mouth.”

The post was later deleted, but not before screenshots began circulating online.

Still, neither Sarah nor Matteo has made an announcement confirming that they are expecting.

The latest speculation comes after several other moments involving the couple had already prompted fans to play detective.

One of them came when Matteo teased a vlog showing him undergoing an ultrasound, complete with a sonogram image.

For a while, some fans wondered if the footage was a pregnancy clue.

The mystery, however, was eventually cleared up when the full vlog showed that Matteo’s ultrasound was part of an executive check-up. Sarah was not with him during the procedure.

Even Matteo’s birthday greeting for Sarah last July gave fans something to speculate about.

“Happy birthday my love! This will be the best year ever,” he wrote.

Some interpreted the message as a possible hint that something major was happening in their lives, while others simply saw it as a husband celebrating his wife.

Sarah’s withdrawal from the first day of the Aurora Music Festival in May also resurfaced in online discussions.

At the time, she was advised by her physician to take complete rest because of unforeseen health reasons.

But there has been no information connecting that incident to pregnancy.

What is known is that having children has been part of Sarah and Matteo’s plans for some time.

In 2023, Matteo openly shared his hope that they would eventually welcome a baby.

“For 2024 and in the future, sana magka-baby na kami. In God’s time,” he said.

He also emphasized that while he was ready to become a father, he did not want to force the timing.

Sarah expressed the same sentiment in an interview that year.

“Siyempre ’yun po ang goal natin. In God’s time… In God’s perfect time,” she said.

The couple married in a private ceremony in Taguig on February 20, 2020.
