PANGASINAN — The entire province of Pangasinan has been placed under a State of Calamity following the approval of Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution No. 985-2026.
The declaration will strengthen and speed up the provincial government’s response to communities affected by the ongoing calamity.
It will facilitate the delivery of relief assistance and other immediate interventions to affected municipalities and residents.
Recovery and rehabilitation efforts are also expected to be accelerated as local governments assess the impact of the disaster in their respective areas.
The provincial government continues to coordinate with municipal and city governments, as well as concerned national agencies, to address the needs of affected communities.
Meanwhile, authorities appealed to residents to remain vigilant, monitor official advisories, and cooperate with disaster response efforts as the province continues to manage the situation.
