The project is part of the local government unit’s (LGU’s) efforts to improve incident reporting and facilitate a quicker response from concerned authorities.
Through the SOS BML Community App, residents can report fires, crimes, accidents, violence, disasters, and other emergencies occurring within the city.
The application also allows residents to report concerns that may not necessarily require a traditional emergency response, including emergencies involving senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs), garbage problems, road obstructions, fallen utility posts, and dangling electrical and telephone wires.

Residents may likewise use the app to report disturbances caused by unruly or intoxicated neighbors, videoke-related complaints, and other community concerns.
Carmona City Mayor Dahlia A. Loyola said the initiative gives residents an opportunity to take an active role in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and resilient community.
Aside from its reporting functions, the app also provides announcements and updates from the city government, including information on weather and traffic conditions.
It also features a lost-and-found section, providing residents with another channel to report or locate missing belongings.
