Korean actor Lee Yong-ju, who appeared in dramas such as “Rude Miss Young-ae,” passed away on Aug. 29. He was 44.
His friend, Lim Eun-ho, announced his passing through a comment on the actor’s Instagram account and on Threads.
“I respectfully inform you that my friend Lee Yong-ju has suddenly passed away. I still cannot believe this sudden news. I ask that many of you remember Yong-ju on his final journey together, and pray for his soul with warm hearts,” he wrote.
Lim Eun-ho added that Lee Yong-ju died of a heart attack.
Lee Yong-ju’s acting credits also include “Hello, Franceska,” “New Recruit,” “Less Than Evil” and “Unusual Family.”
A wake is being held at Bundang Jesaeng Hospital Funeral Hall in Seongnam, South Korea. The funeral will be on Aug. 31.
