Elijah Canlas finds a new 'tourist spot' in the Netherlands
By Ian Ureta
Elijah Canlas turned a visit to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands, into a lighthearted social media post.
The actor shared photos from his quick trip to the European country on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, Aug. 23, including one of himself posing in front of the ICC building with a thumbs-up.
“Bagong tourist spot sa netherlands,” Elijah captioned the photos.
In another image, the actor also showed a portable bidet, which he referred to as being associated with the so-called “Duterte Street,” a reference to an area near the ICC where supporters of former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte have gathered.
Elijah did not disclose the reason for his visit to the ICC.
The court in The Hague has been the focus of attention among Filipinos following Duterte’s arrest in March 2025 and his transfer to ICC custody over alleged crimes against humanity linked to his administration’s controversial war on drugs campaign.
Elijah is currently in Europe for a new project under MavX Productions, which requires filming scenes in Finland.
