Las Piñas most wanted falls after 8 years

A 34‑year‑old security guard tagged as one of Las Piñas City’s most wanted persons was arrested Wednesday night, Aug. 26, after more than eight years of evading authorities in connection with a frustrated homicide case.
Las Piñas Police chief Col. Fermin Armendares identified the suspect as alias “Kibong,” a resident of Barangay Zapote.
Operatives of the Warrant and Subpoena Section apprehended Kibong at about 8:30 p.m. at Sarao Compound in Barangay Zapote by virtue of a warrant for frustrated homicide.
The warrant was issued on Jan. 19, 2018, by Judge Ismael Duldulao of the Regional Trial Court Branch 197 in Las Piñas City. No bail was recommended.
Kibong was detained at the police custodial facility for documentation.
