Chery Auto Philippines invited Chery Car Club members to take part in its Behind The Scenes event, which covered vehicle care, spare parts handling, and other areas of its aftersales operations.
The aftersales team taught participants how to inspect key areas of their vehicles, recognize concerns that may need professional attention, and change a spare tire.
Members then visited the Chery Parts Warehouse to go through the process of ordering and collecting components. With assistance from warehouse personnel, they checked whether the correct parts and quantities had been prepared and inspected the items for damage before release.
The warehouse visit covered the steps followed before components are delivered to Chery dealerships. It also allowed owners to speak directly with the personnel responsible for preparing and checking the parts.
“I have attended several Chery events, but this one is different. It offers a different perspective on Chery. The behind-the-scenes aspect hits the mark. It speaks not only about the brand itself, but also about the people behind that brand,” Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid owner Atty. Jun Isidro said.
Tiggo rEV owner William Bacal said the visit addressed concerns he had heard about replacement-parts availability.
“Before, I was worried because others were saying that there were no parts available and that it would take a long time to get parts. But now, I’ve actually seen it myself, and I’m convinced that you’re really there to help us in case we encounter any problems. They’re really very dedicated,” Bacal said.
UAAGI Auto Group Vice President for Aftersales Lito Landicho said the program helps customers understand the work performed by Chery’s aftersales personnel.
“Aftersales is an important part of the Chery ownership experience, and we want our customers to see what happens behind the scenes to support them throughout their journey. Through the BTS program, we are giving our customers a better understanding of the processes and people behind our aftersales operations while equipping them with practical knowledge they can use as vehicle owners,” Landicho said.
Chery Auto Philippines provides vehicle warranties of up to seven years or 200,000 km, whichever comes first. Its PHEV model is covered by an eight-year or 160,000-km high-voltage battery warranty, whichever comes first. Chery customers also receive three years of roadside assistance.
